Shop employee killed in city

A grocery shop employee was strangulated to death at South Mugda in the city's Sabujbagh early Friday. The deceased was identified as Ershad Ali (22), son of Rezaul Karim of Shahajadpur Upazila in Sirajganj district. According to the police, Ershad went to sleep with another employee, appointed recently, in the storeroom of the shop Thursday night and found dead Friday morning. The police recovered the body of Ershad from "Laxmipur General Store" at about 10am. — UNB
