Shop owners fined for selling adulterated food

CHANDPUR, Sept 26 (BSS): A mobile court conducted raids in different hat and bazaars of the district Sunday and fined some shop owners for selling adulterated food.
Magistrate M A Matin led the drive and fined eight shop owners Tk 14,500.
The court conducted drives in different fish and vegetable markets. Customers complained that some unscrupulous shop owners were using defective scales and measurements while selling goods.
