Shopping malls get fake-note detection machines

Bangladesh Bank (BB) and the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) have completed the distributed of fake-note detection machines to the big shopping centres in the city. The machines were handed over to the representatives of the markets at a programme organised by the FBCCI at its office at Motijheel. Speaking on the occasion, the representatives of the business community and officials of BB hoped that the use of the fake-note detection machines will curb the circulation of fake notes in city markets ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr, according to a news agency.
