Shovon re-elected president of NASCIB

Mirza Nurul Ghani Shovon, an entrepreneur, has been re-elected president of the National Association of Small and Cottage Industries of Bangladesh (NASCIB) for the 2023-25 term.
The election was held at the NASCIB headquarters in the city's Mouchak area on Tuesday, a statement said.
The trade body members also elected 31 board members, including senior vice president A K M Mujibur Rahman.
The newly elected vice presidents are Md Iftekhar Ali, Muhammad Munir-Uz-Zaman, Mohammad Arfin and Rahela Parveen (Shishir).
Founded in 1984, NASCIB is a platform for thousands of small-scale entrepreneurs and plays a vital role in the sector's growth and sustainability.
