Shyama Prosad new chief engr of LGED

Shyama Prosad Adhikari has been made chief engineer of the Local Government and Engineering Department (LGED), reports UNB.
He replaced Md Wahidur Rahman as the one-year contractual tenure of the former ended Thursday, said a press release.
Engineer Shayma Proshad Odhikari was serving as Additional Chief Engineer of LGED before he took the charge as the Chief Engineer on Thursday.
Sources at the LGED headquarters said Shyama Proshad Odhikari joined the then Rural Works Programme as Assistant Engineer in 1981 and he served various important posts, including executive engineer, superintendent engineer and project director, earlier.
