SIBL chairman,MD meet IDB Group Chairman

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Social Islami Bank Limited (SIBL) Major (Retd.) Dr. Md. Rezaul Haque and Managing Director Mr. Md. Shafiqur Rahman met Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Group Chairman Dr. Ahmad Mohamed Ali at IDB Head Quarters in Jeddah recently. They discussed, among other issues relating to development of Islamic Banking in the world and ways to reducing poverty from the society through use of Islamic microfinance. They had also dealt in details on how to develop waqf properties in Bangladesh towards contributing societal development more effectively, said a statement.
