SIBL signs deal with Alpen Capital

Social Islami Bank Limited (SIBL) and UAE based investment banking advisory firm Alpen Capital (ME) Ltd signed an agreement at the head office of SIBL recently, said a statement.
Quazi Osman Ali, Managing Director & CEO, Kazi Towhidul Alam, Additional Managing Director, Md. Sirajul Hoque, Deputy Managing Director, Abdul Hannan Khan, Company Secretary and other officials of SIBL were present in the signing ceremony.
Md. Akmal Hossain, Executive Vice President of SIBL and Hameed Noor Mohamed, Executive Director of Alpen Capital signed and exchanged the documents on behalf of their respective organisation.
Under the agreement, Alpen Capital will act as the exclusive financial advisor in raising up to USD 100 million for the Offshore Banking Unit (OBU) of SIBL, the statement added.
