Siddikur moves up in third round

Bangladesh's celebrity golfer Siddikur Rahman moved up to the joint 36th from joint 47th slot after the 3rd round of the $300,000 Asia Pacific Classic (APC) at St Andrews Golf Club in Henan, China on Saturday, reports UNB.
The 33-year Bangladeshi golfer Siddikur aggregated two-under-par 214 [72-71-71] from three rounds, playing 11 shots more than the leader John Catlin [USA] who maintained the leadership for the second successive day.
John Catlin birdied six against three bogies in the third round at the 7261-yards course.
The two time Asian Tour winner Siddikur traded two birdies-one in each nine-against one bogey in the last hole of first 9 in the 3rd round for one-under-par 71.
Siddikur shared the 36th slot with six other golfers starting the campaign with jointly placing 57th on Thursday.
Riding on the four-under-par 68 in the 3rd round, Australian golfer Adam Blyth got the second slot aggregating 12-under-par 203[70-66-68]. He traded five birdies against one bogey in the 3rd round.
