Siddikur starts well in True Thailand Classic

Famed Bangladeshi golfer Siddikur Rahman made a good start in the True Thailand Classic, placed 20th in the first round with 19 other golfers, at the Black Mountain Golf Club in Hua Hin, Thailand Thursday, reports UNB.
Michael Hoey of Northern Ireland secured the top slot singly playing eight-under-par-64 followed by Hung Chien-yao of Taiwan, David Lipsky of USA and Carlos Pigem of Spain with identical seven-under-par-65.
Siddikur played three-under-par-69 with four birdies and a bogey to finish the first round.
The Bangladeshi golfer played one-under-par to put the second hole in the first session while one-over-par to put 13th hole and played three consecutive one-under-par to put 15th, 16th and 17th holes respectively in the second session.
