FARIDPUR, Nov 19: Noted businessman Md Siddiqur Rahman has been selected as the top tax-payer of the district for the fiscal 2008-09.
Signed by National Board of Revenue (NBR) Chairman Nasir Uddin Ahmed, a letter has certified Mr Siddiqur Rahman as the top tax-payer for his honesty, integrity and paying highest amount of tax to the government.
The officers and employees of NBR have welcomed him for such payment.
He is the owner of M/s Md Siddiqur Rahman, Srabony Construction, M/s Deana Properties, M/s Alauddin Sheikh, H Tech Polymer Industries, M/s Alauddin Crushing Centre, M/s Lucky Transport and Alauddin Community Centre.
He is the son of popular political figure of Guha Laxmipur area of Faridpur town late Sheikh Alauddin.
