\\\'Sidor\\\' and \\\'Hudhud\\\' – born on a bus

A woman has given birth to twin boys on a bus in Raiganj Upazila in Sirajganj district. Shahina Akhter, along with her husband Khatibar Rahman Bhutto, was heading home to Rangpur on a ‘SM Elegance’ bus on Saturday. The 30-year-old housewife gave birth on the way’ said father of the twins Khatibar Rahman. She went into labour and the boys were born outside Shikdar Filling Station in Chandaikona area on Dhaka-Bogra Highway. The news spread quickly and people soon gathered there to see the twins born on a bus. The curious onlookers also named the two after two calamitous storms – ‘Sidor’ and ‘Hudhud’. The mother and the newborns were taken to Chandaikona health complex with the help of the workers of the bus. The bus owner after hearing the news distributed sweets among doctors, nurses, reporters at the hospital. Dr Kishor Kumar Roy said the mother and her 2 new boys were doing well, according to a news agency.
