Sidr-hit farmers submit memo to CA

JHALOKATHI, Jan 3 (UNB): The Sidr-hit farmers of Nalchhiti Upazila have demanded of the government and NGOs to write-off the agri credits standing in their names.
The demand was made in a memorandum submitted to the Chief Adviser Dr Fakhruddin Ahmed through the local UNO Wednesday.
In the memorandum, they also called for their early rehabilitation as they had lost all, including houses and standing crops, due to the cyclone Sidr.
