Signal No. 1 for Maritime ports

Maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to hoist cautionary signal No. one over a depression over the Southwest Bay and adjoining areas, reports UNB.
The depression over the Southwest Bay and adjoining area (lat. 11.6 degree N, long, 92.5 degree E) was centered at 12:00 noon on Saturday about 1180 km southwest of Chattogram port, 1095 km Southwest of Cox's Bazar port, 1250 km south-southwest of Mongla port and 1180 km south-southwest of Payra port, said a Met office bulletin issued on Saturday.
