Signal No 3 at Mongla, Payra as deep convection continues

A squally weather may affect the North Bay, adjoining coastal area of Bangladesh and the maritime ports as the deep convection continues over the North Bay. The maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to keep hoisted local cautionary signal number three, a Met office bulletin said on Wednesday. All the fishing boats and trawlers over the North Bay have been advised to remain close to the coast and proceed with caution till further notice, according to UNB.
