Simplifying tax payment

Many of the elderly people known as senior citizens survive on income from house rents and savings certificates. Every year they are to file income tax returns through tax lawyers.
I urge the NBR to adopt simple income tax return procedure for those whose income accrues only from house rent income, returns from savings certificates and bank interest. There can be a separate format for such tax payers.
Once the tax authority gives clearance for a year, the incumbent senior citizens may submit returns on the special format for the following years calculating taxes very easily on the incomes of the year under review.  This will help thousands of senior citizens from harassment.
