Singer awarded by SAFA for best presented accounts

South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA), an apex body of SAARC, announced its 'Best Presented Accounts Award 2007' recently, says a press release.
Singer Bangladesh Limited, one of the leading retailing and manufacturing company engaged in consumer electronics, household appliances and cables, was awarded as 'Best Presented Accounts Award for 2007' under manufacturing sector.
This award was given at a ceremonial function at Hyderabad, India by the president of SAFA.
The award is conferred on the basis of evaluation administered by SAFA's 'Committee on improving transparency, accountability and governance of the published annual reports of entries from South Asian countries'.
