Popular singer Nazmun Munira Nancy has been brought to Dhaka after she reportedly took an overdose of sedatives, reports bdnews24.com.
She was moved to the Dhaka's LabAid Specialised Hospital Sunday morning from Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.
LabAid Hospital's Assistant General Manager (Corporate Communications) Saifur Rahman Lenin told the news agency that Nancy had been kept at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
National award winner singer Nancy hails from Netrokona and lives at her father's home at the town's Saatpai area.
She was taken to the Netrokona Sadar Hospital Saturday evening.
A duty nurse at the hospital said the singer had consumed 20 pills on Friday night and another 40 pills on Saturday.
