South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) has recently announced the Best Presented Accounts Award 2007.
Singer Bangladesh Limited, one of the leading retailing and manufacturing companies engaged in consumer electronics, household appliances and cables was awarded the 'Best Presented Accounts Award for 2007' under Manufacturing Sector.
The award was given at a ceremonial function at Hyderabad, India by the President of SAFA, said a press release.
The award is conferred on the basis of evaluation administered by SAFA's Committee on improving Transparency, Accountability and Governance of the published annual reports of entries from South Asian countries.
