Singer Shafin Ahmed no more

Shafin Ahmed, one of the most popular band artists, has passed away at age of 63, reports UNB.
The singer breathed his last while on life support at a hospital in Virginia, United States, on Thursday morning (Bangladesh time). due to massive heart attack, according to the Bangladesh Band Music Fans Community (BBMFC).
Born on February 14, 1961, in Kolkata, West Bengal of India, to the subcontinent's pioneering music artists Kamal Dasgupta and Feroza Begum, Shafin Ahmed joined the Bangladeshi rock band Miles in 1979.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday expressed her profound shock and sorrow at the death of Shafin Ahmed
In a condolence message, she prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family members.
