Singer unveils business strategy

Singer Sales Conference, 2010 was held in the city recently with more than 450 participants from across the country.
Theme for this year was "Change For Prosperity 2010". The sales conference set out business strategy and guidelines for the year 2010.
Managing Director & CEO of Singer Bangladesh Limited and Vice President of Singer Asia Limited Mr. A. M. Hamim Rahmatullah inaugurated the sales conference in presence of Chairman, President & CEO of Singer Corporation Mr. Stephen H. Goodman and President & CEO of Singer Asia Mr. Gavin Walker.
Members of Singer Corporation Board, Singer Bangladesh Management Committee Members, Sales & Marketing Executives, field personnel and business associates attended the conference.
In his speech, Mr. Hamim said despite global financial crisis, Singer Bangladesh performed well in 2009 and expected to achieve better business performance in 2010.
At the business session of the conference, A.Z.M. Hasanuzzaman, Manager, Shibbari More, Khulna was adjudged 'Man of the year 2009' in Heavyweight category while A.N.M. Hasanul Imam, Manager, Sherpur, Bogra Singer Plus Shop was declared 'Man of the Year 2009' in the Lightweight category. Mr. Md. Syeduzzaman, Area Manager, South West was accorded with prestigious "Diamond Club Award" while Area Manager, North-East Mr. Mahmudur Rahman Khan was presented with "President Club Award".
