Sinopec subsidiary wins Malaysia refinery contract

BEIJING, Aug 12 (Xinhua): Sinopec Engineering Group, a subsidiary of China's biggest refiner Sinopec, has been awarded a refinery contract worth US$1.33 billion by Malaysian oil firm Petronas, Sinopec announced on Tuesday.
It said in a statement that it has been contracted for the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of an oil refining and petrochemical integrated plant in Pengerang in the state of Johor.
