Sirajganj road crash kills 3

SIRAJGANJ, Nov 20 (UNB): Three people including a mother and her one month old daughter were killed in a head-on collision between a truck and a bus at Nokla in Raiganj Upazila on Sunday. The deceased were identified as Razia Khatun, 30, wife of Al-Mahmud and their daughter Habiba and Alamgir Hossain, 30, son of Ataher Rahman, hailed from Dinajpur. Police said the accident took place when a Dhaka-bound bus of Rekha paribahan from Dinajpur collided with an iron laden truck coming from opposite direction, killing two passengers of the bus on the spot and injuring 18 others at around 10.00 am. The injured were admitted to sadar hospital and various clinics. Razia, One of the injured, succumbed to her injuries at sadar hospital. Police, on information, recovered the bodies and sent those to hospital morgue for autopsy.
