Six die in Tangail road accident

TANGAIL, Apr 13 : Six bus passengers were killed and 30 others injured in a road accident at Bayoikhola in Basail Upazila Tuesday. The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately. Police said a North Bengal bound bus of Hanif Paribahan from capital being hit by a truck from behind fell into a roadside ditch, leaving six people dead on the spot at about 4:30pm. The goods laden truck fled away following the accident on the Tangail-Dhaka highway. Of the injured, 14 were admitted to Tangail General Hospital. — UNB
