Six Feni police SIs transferred

Six sub-inspectors (SIs) of Feni Model Police Station have been transferred to various places of the district, reports bdnews24.com.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (Circle) of Feni Shamsul Alam Sarkar confirmed it  Sunday.
The order came after the murder of Phulgazi Upazila Chairman Ekramul Haque last month that raised questions about the district's law and order.
ASP Sarkar, however, said these transfers were routine.
The SIs transferred were Md Mesbahuddin, Md Golam Hakkani, Md Alamgir Hossain, Zobaidul Nahar, Rafiqul Islam and Md Ershad.
Process was on to replace the vacant posts from other police stations, the official said.
