Six held over attack on DoE official in city

Police have arrested six persons in connection with the attack on the officials of Department of Environment (DoE) during a drive in a banned polythene factory in Chawkbazar in the capital, reports BSS.
The arrestees are Md Humayun Kabir (28), Md Ariful Islam (40), Anwar Hossain Khokan (48), Md Shahabuddin (45), Md Nazmul Alam Uzzal (36) and Md Sumon (26).
DMP's Detective Branch (DB) and Chawkbazar police in separate drives arrested them Tuesday and Monday.
