Six injured in AL-Jamaat clash

At least six people were injured in a clash between the activists of Awami League and Jamaat-e-Islami at Guptamanik Raninagar in Shibganj Upazila in injures 6 in Chapainwabganj district on Tuesday. Police said the clash broke out when a procession of Jamaat-Shibir men came across the AL activists while they were returning from local Shaheed Minar around 10:00am after placing wreaths on the occasion of Victory Day. Officer-in-Charge of Shibganj Police Station said the clash left at least six people injured from both sides. The injured were admitted to different hospitals in Chapainwabganj, according to a news agency.
