Six injured in BCL-JCD clash

SYLHET, Nov 7 (UNB): At least six people were injured in a clash between the activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) and rival Chhatra Dal (JCD) at Bhurki Bazar under Biswanath Upazila Friday.
Sources said clash ensued as local JCD activists prevented some BCL men when they were holding a meeting at the local family planning office.
At one stage, the rival groups, equipped with sticks, homemade weapons, attacked each other, leaving six people injured from both the sides.
One of the injured Abdul Kahar was admitted to Osmani Medical College Hospital in critical condition. Others were taken to Upazila Health Complex.
