Six injured in gas explosions in city

Six people, including two minor boys, received burn injuries in separate gas explosions in the city's Pallabi and Demra areas on Monday, reports UNB.
Four workers of a pharmaceutical company received burn injuries following an explosion inside a pharmaceutical factory in the city's Mirpur-11.
The injured employees are Shahidul (30), Nahid (19), Shahjada (22) and Sumon (21).
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Pallabi thana Dadan Fakir said an explosion occurred inside Medicon Pharmaceutical factory of Parish road in Mirpur-11 when some workers were washing machine parts besides a gas burner, leaving four workers injured.
