Six killed in separate incidents in Rangpur

RANGPUR, Mar 28 (BSS): Six person, including a minor girl, were killed in separate incidents at different places in the district during the last 24 hours till this morning, police and local sources said.
Life term convict Anukul Chandra (50) of village Sonaroy under Domar Upazila in Nilphamari fell sick at Rangpur Central Jail and rushed to the Rangpur Medical College Hospital (RMCH) where he died.
Minor girl Moyna (4) of village Zamirjan under Pirgachha Upazila in Rangpur was killed after a speedy motorcycle hit her at nearby Bakshir Dighee point on the Rangpur-Sundarganj road.
Abdul Alim (28) of village Bhurungamari in Kurigram was seriously injured after a cow hit his bicycle there and was admitted to the RMCH where he succumbed this morning.
Sumi (11), a class Six student of Khordo Rangpur village in Sadar Upazila of Rangpur allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her bedroom for unknown reason.
Majnu Mian (8), a class Two student of village Gopalpur under Badarganj Upazila in Rangpur was killed when a trolley hit the van-cart carrying him at Jamidar Dighee point on the Shyampur- Gopalpur road.
Newly bought poisonous cobra bit `Snake Kabiraz' Manik Chandra Roy (55) of village Amrul Bari Dangirpar under Badarganj Upazila in Rangpur Sunday night and he died at Badarganj Upazila Health Complex after few hours. Several unnatural cases were filed in these connections, the sources said.
