Six of a family killed as train hits Nasimon in Natore

NATORE, Mar 08: Six members of a family were killed as a train hit a Nasimon (human hauler) near Basudevpur Rail Station at Naldanga in sadar upazila on Thursday afternoon. The dead are Sultan Ahmed, 40, his mother Surjan Beoa, 70, his sister Kulsum Begum, 27, his sister-in-law (bhabi) Lovely, 30, nephew Sajib, 8, and niece Laboni, 3, all Nasimon passengers. Nasimon driver Saiful was injured in the accident. A Dinajpur-bound inter-city train from Dhaka hit a Nasimon which was passing through the unmanned Basudevpur Purbo level crossing. —UNB
