SJIBL Brokerage House opens unit

Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) Brokerage House has opened its second unit at Gulshan in the city.
Director of the bank Mohammed Hasan formally inaugurated the unit as the chief guest Wednesday, said a press release.
Among others, Chairman of the board of directors of the bank Akkasuddin Mollah, directors Mohammed Frooq, Syed Nurul Arefeen, Md Towhidur Rahman, Anwer Hossain Khan, Abdul Halim, Tofazzal Hossain and Md Sanaullah Shahid, sponsor shareholder MA Mannan, Managing Director Muhammad Ali and Deputy Managing Director Md Mukhter Hossain were present on the occasion.
A large number of clients and well-wishers were also present at the inaugural function.
The bank has a plan to open eight more units of the brokerage house in Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet and Jessore areas during the year, the release added.
