SJIBL distributes scholarship among students

Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) Thursday distributed scholarship among 500 students of different colleges, medical colleges and universities on the basis of their brilliant performance in SSC and HSC exams. Each student received Tk twenty thousand for SSC level and Tk twenty five thousand for HSC level. A. K. Azad, Chairman of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited presided over the ceremony while Finance Minister A. M. A. Muhith, MP, was present as the Chief Guest and the Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank S. K. Sur Chowdhury, Chairman of Pubali Bank Limited Hafiz Ahmed Mazumder were present as special guests on the occasion. Among others, Chairman of Shahjalal Islami Bank Foundation Engr. Md. Towhidur Rahman and Managing Director Farman R Chowdhury delivered speeches, according to a statement.
