SJIBL keen to invest in shrimp farming

Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd Founder Director Md Towhidur Rahman said SJIBL is interest to invest in shrimp cultivation and processing, jute sector and import-export business.
He made this observation after inaugurating the 24th branch of the bank at 72 KDA Avenue in Khulna as the chief guest recently.
Founder Chairman of the bank Sajjatuz Jumma, vice chairmen Mohammad Hasan and Syed Nurul Arefeen, directors Anwer Hossain Khan, Md Sanaullah Shahid, Mohiuddin Ahmed and Khandoker Sakib were present on the occasion.
Ahmed Towhidur Rahman said the bank plays a vital role for creating new entrepreneurs and expanding of business as well as employment. Another two branches would be opened within this month at Chittagong and Savar.
SJIBL Chairman Akkasuddin Mollah said the bank provides better services to its clients with latest technology.
Managing Director of the bank Muhammad Ali briefed about different schemes with a view to improving the deposit base of the bank.
SJIBL has already taken necessary measures for the expatriates to remit money, he added.
Sponsor shareholders of the bank Mohammad Farooq, Abdul Halim, Abdul Mannan, DMD Md Jillur Rahman and BFFEA President Kazi Belayet Hossain were present, among others, on the occasion.
