SJIBL opens 31st branch at Jessore

Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) opened its 31st branch at Jessore Wednesday.
The founder chairman of the bank, Sajjatuz Jumma, formally inaugurated the branch as the chief guest.
Jumma said the bank is being operated by an expert team of professionals with international standard.
He also said the bank staff remain vigilant to reach quality services of the bank to the clients.
Chairman of the board of directors of the bank Akkas Uddin Mollah said the demand and popularity of Islamic banking has marked a rise globally due to transparency, justice, financing on the basis of profit-sharing, philanthropic activities and major contribution to socio-economic development.
Managing Director of the bank Mohammad Ali said the bank has become one of the best banks within a short period due to proper guidelines set by the board of directors and also because of dedication and sincerity of the bank staff.
Among others, Vice Chairman of the bank Mohammad Farooq, directors Md Towhidur Rahman, Md Solaiman, Abdul Halim, Abdul Barek, Rukunuddin Khan, Khondker Sakib Ahmed, sponsor shareholders Anwer Hossain Khan, Tofazzal Hossain, Abdul Mannan, Sanaullah Shahid, Mohluddin Ahmed, deputy managing directors Md Jillur Rahman and Md Mukhter Hossain and former banker AKM Nazmul Huq were also present in the opening ceremony.
