SJIBL opens 34th branch

Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) opened Wednesday its 34th branch at Panthopath in the city, says a press release.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank, Akkas Uddin Mollah formally inaugurated the branch as chief guest.
He said the bank has marched ahead due to the excellent services provided to its clients. He hoped that the bank will continue to contribute in trade, commerce and industrialisation as well as socio-economic development.
Managing Director Mohammad Ali gave a short brief of the bank's deposit and investment schemes. He said the bank has become one of the best banks within a short period due to proper guidelines set by the board of directors and also because of dedication and sincerity of the bank staff members.
Among others, founder chairman of the bank Sajjatuz Jumma, Vice Chairman Syed Nurul Arefeen, Directors Towhidur Rahman, Md Solaiman, Abdul Halim, Khandoker Sakib Ahmed, Nazmul Islam Nuru, sponsor shareholders Md Hasan, MA Mannan, Sanaullah Shahid, Former Director Md Masud and Managing Director Muhammad Ali were present in the opening ceremony.
