SJIBL opens its brokerage house at Agrabad in Ctg

Brokerage House (capital market services division) of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) opened at Agrabad Unit in Chittagong Monday.
Chittagong Stock Exchange Limited President Nasiruddin Ahmed Chowdhury inaugurated the house as the chief guest while Chairman of the board of directors of SJIBL Engr Md Towhidur Raliman, Funding Chairman Sajjatuz Jumma, Vice Chairman Md Sanaullah Shahid, directors Akkasuddin Mollah, Anwar Hossain Khan, Mohammad Solaiman, Mohammed Hasan, Deputy Managing Director Md Abdul Jabbar Chowdhury and Company Secretary Emran Hossain were present on the occasion.
Mr Nasiruddin Ahmed Chowdhury adviced the bank authorities to set up more brokerage units in different places of the country. He said the market capitalisation had crossed US dollar 18 billion mark due to strong institutional support in the stock markets.
Mr Towhidur Rahman said that they wanted to serve the people by opening brokerage houses in main cities of the country.
A large number of customers and well-wishers of the bank were present at the function.
