SJSJ calls for saving cultural sector from foreign invasion

Shishu-Jubo Sangskritik Jote (SJSJ) president Poet Mosharraf Hossain questioned the legality of the albums and books brought out by a section of foreign artistes, poets and singers coming to Bangladesh on tourist visas, said a press release.
He asked whether the copyrights act, the publication rules and other related regulations of the ministries of Information and Cultural Affairs were followed properly during publication of those.
Alongside the persistent foreign invasion of the satellite culture, the publication sector of Bangladesh is also under threat now, he added.
