Sk Russell drub Brothers

Sheikh Russell KC drubbed Brothers Union by 4-0 goals in a match of the GrameenPhone Bangladesh League at Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS) in the city Saturday, reports UNB. With the day's victory, Sk Russell secured 29 points while Brothers remained at 19 points, both playing 15 matches. Manik, Nigerian recruit Duke, Raju and Wahed scored the goals in the 33rd, 56th, 79th and 90th plus minute respectively. In another match of the day, joint leaders of the league Muktijoddha Sangsad KC moved ahead of Abahani at the top of the table beating hosts Soccer Club, Feni 2-0 at the Feni Stadium. Sudan forward James Moga and Russian recruit Boris Kochikin scored the goals in the 18th and 73rd minute respectively. This win takes the freedom fighters to solo lead atop table with 38 points from 15 outings while Soccer Club Feni remained at 12 points, also from 15 outings. Today's matches: Arambagh KS vs Sheikh Jamal DC (BNS at 4:15 pm); Ctg Abahani vs Farashganj SC (Cox's Bazar Stadium at 4 pm).
