Skipper Mushfiq gives credit to his boys
Monday, 17 March 2014
Bangladesh skipper Mushfiqur Rahim gave all credit to his boys for their day's remarkable victory over Afghanistan, reports BSS.
The boys were up for the challenge and they've been doing well in the practice matches as well," Mushfiq said.
He said "Afghanistan misread the wicket… probably a 120-130 wicket and since we picked a few early wickets it helped us. It was spinning a bit and we kept things tight and kept getting wickets."
He said Mashrafe and Tamim were the champions on their side and it was great to have them.
Commenting on his own injury the Bangladesh skipper said he was completely alright now.
On the other hand Afghanistan skipper Mohammad Nabi said: "That was the plan, why we put Gulbadin at No.3. To get a few quick runs."
