SKS invites applications from children of ex-Armed Forces personnel for stipend

Sena Kalyan Sangstha (SKS) has invited applications from the ex-servicemen and retired personnel from Armed Forces for school and madrasah level stipend 2008 for their children, studying from class-VI to X, reports UNB.
Not more than two members of a family could apply for the SKS stipend at a time.
Children born after retirement and obtained less than 45 per cent marks are not eligible to apply for the stipend.
Armed Force personnel can collect prescribed application forms from all District Armed Services Boards and Sena Kalyan Sangstha's head office at Sena Kalyan Bhaban at Motijheel in the city by producing their person or discharge book.
The application form will also be available in its website http:/www.senakalyan.org.
The last date for submission of the application duly filled in all respects is next March 20 at District Armed Services Boards.
The boards will submit the application forms to the head office of Sena Kalyan Sangstha by March 31.
For renewal of stipends, the stipend holders have to submit their promotion reports or mark-sheets duly countersigned by the head of the institutions by March 31.
Promotion reports or mark-sheets should bear the name of stipendiary and his/her stipend holding number, father's name and service particulars such as number and rank.
