SL Dev XI-BCB Academy match drawn

The first four-day match between visiting GP-BCB National Cricket Academy team and Sri Lanka Development XI ended in draw at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Sri Lanka Saturday, reports UNB.
Replying to GP-BCB Academy team's first innings total of 441 runs featuring a century by Shamsur Rahman (125), Sri Lanka resumed the first innings Saturday morning with overnight total of 376 for 6 and were all out for 397 runs in 99.5 overs with Masmulla hitting 117 runs.
Touring GP-BCB Academy team opened the 2nd innings this (Saturday) morning and were bundled out for 190 all in 60.5 overs with skipper Naeem Islam's 82 off 183 deliveries with 10 boundaries.
Chasing a huge target of 235 runs to win in 27 overs, hosts Sri Lanka Development XI scored 32 for 2 in 12 overs when bails were drawn for the 4th and final day leaving the match for a draw.
Touring GP-BCB Academy team will play the 2nd four-day against the same opponents on 16-19 September at the Premadasa Stadium.
After the four-dayer, touring BCB Academy will play the 1st one-day match on Sept 21 at Premadasa Stadium, the 2nd on September 23 at SSC ground and the 3rd and last one-day on September 25 at NCC ground.
