SL men block road in city

Sramik League (SL) activists blocked the road at Rampura in the city on Thursday evening, protesting the arrest of one of their leaders. A team of Rampura Police Station picked up Abdul Mannan, president of ward-22 unit of Sramik League, in the evening, said police. However, the reason behind the arrest could not be known yet. As the news spread around, the activists of the ruling Awami League’s labour wing blocked the road at the mouth of Wapda Road around 7:30pm, according to a news agency.
