Slain BRAC employee buried in Tangail

Slain BRAC employee Abdul Alim was buried at his village home in Tangail district Wednesday, reports UNB.
Earlier, the body of Alim was brought back to the country from Kabul on an Emirates Airlines flight at 11:00 am.
Family members of the deceased and senior BRAC officials received the body at Zia International Airport and escorted it to his home at village Digore in Ghatail Upazila of Tangail, where his body was buried after the namaz-e-janaza.
BRAC Area Manager Abdul Alim (37) was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Badakshan province of Afghanistan on September 12, said a press release.
