Slaughtered body of a youth found in Jessore

JESSORE, Aug 27 (UNB): Police recovered the slaughtered body of a young man from Ghop Jail Road area in the district town early Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Hye,35, son of Soleman Sarkar, a resident of the area.
Enamul Haque, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station, said a patrol team of police spotted the body of Hye in the area at about 4:30 am.
Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Jessore Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
Police suspected that Hye might have been strangled sometime on Monday night.
A case was filed in this connection.
