Slaughtered body of Jubo League man found in capital

Police recovered the slaughtered body of a Jubo League activist from Senpara of the city’s Kafrul area on Thursday. The deceased, identified as Mizanur Rahman, 22, activist of ward no 94 unit Jubu League and son of Nuru Mia of Senpara, hailed from Dakkhin Kazirchar in Muladi upazila of Barisal district. Sources at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) Police camp said that the local people spotted Mizanur’s body near his residence around 6 am and immediately informed police. Later, sub-inspector Ainal Haque of Kafrul Police Station sent the body to the DMCH morgue for autopsy. The reason behind the killing could not be known immediately, according to UNB.
