SLBCCI donates utensils for Sidr-hit people

Sri Lanka-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industries (SLBCCI) donated 200 packs of household utensils for the cyclone-affected families.
Sri Lankan High Commissioner in Bangladesh V Krishnamoorthy Tuesday handed over the relief goods to Food and Disaster Management Secretary Mohammad Aiyub Mia.
Each of the packs contains two plates, two cups, two jars, two saucepans with lids, one strainer, one water jug, one toilet jug and one spoon.
The utensils will be distributed among the Sidr-hit people through the government.
SLBCCI President S Renganathan, Vice President Harikesha Wijesekra, General Secretary TD Packir and Executive Committee members Syed Tanvir Asan and Lalindra Wijkoon were present on the occasion.
