Slum gutted by fire in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, Apr 15: A devastating fire broke out in a slum at Firingi Bazar in the port city on Monday, burning down some 20 shanties.
Witnesses and official sources said the blaze started around 1:20pm and engulfed the slum.
Abdur Razzak, deputy assistant director at the Fire Service and Civil Defence in Chattogram, said around 10 units of firefighters rushed to the spot to put out the flames.
