SM Sultan\\\'s 90th birthday today

NARAIL, Aug 9 (BSS): The 90th birth anniversary of world famous artist SM Sultan will be observed here tomorrow in a befitting manner.
SM Sultan Foundation and the district administration have chalked out a daylong programme to mark the birthday of the celebrated painter.
Besides, Art School, SM Sultan Bengal Art College in Narail, Jessore Sultan Art College, Educational institutions and various socio-cultural organisations would also celebrate his birth anniversary in the region.
The celebration programmes will begin with placing of floral wreaths at the venerable artist's Mazar in Masumdia area under the district town.
To mark the day, Qurankhwani, Milad Mahfil, Mazar ziarat, art competition and discussion will be held at "Shishu Swarga" auditorium in the town.
