Small Innovative ideas needed for infrastructural development

Tuesday, 23 January 2018

Bangladesh is a riverine country. So it is regularly flooded during the monsoon. Inadequate road spaces and heterogeneous vehicles have made modern transportation and communication networks extremely difficult and expensive. The river boats and ferries traditionally used for transportation are cheap, but they are slow and inefficient. Poor and inefficient infrastructure has subverted the economic development in the country. The city lacks an attractively developed bus stoppage. A research in California, USA has suggested that a Bus Stoppage should be designed in an innovative way that may attract the people who use public transport. In this respect light weight Steel Sheds with an innovative design would provide an aesthetic look. The design of the Bus Stoppage should include Wi-Fi system and use solar energy system to add more value to it. The bus stoppage with structural sheds of steel would take approximately 15 tentative days for construction. If it is possible to start with a little innovative design, it will be evident that greater innovation for infrastructural development will be possible in near future thereby presenting Bangladesh in a different perspective. It is our time and let us start thinking more about the innovative ideas within our community to boost infrastructural development of the country.
