\\\'Smriti October\\\' monument opens at DU

 Commemorating the students who had lost their lives in the Jagannath Hall tragedy on October 15, 1985, a monument named 'Smriti October' was inaugurated Saturday on the premises of October Smriti Bhawan at Jagannath Hall of Dhaka University (DU), reports BSS.
Built with the cooperation from Jagannath Hall Alumni Association (JHAA), the monument was inaugurated by DU vice-chancellor (VC) Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique, a DU release said.
